Rewards Account Shows Different EMAIL?

So, I've noticed this for some time, but haven't care too much, but feel I should finally ask about this. So When I log into my Rewards account which is my microsoft/xbox account, it's normal, I don't have anything different, BUT when I click on the account
it shows a totally different Email connected to it, when I go to microsoft account from there, it shows my normal EMAIL... Can someone explain or is something odd going on I should be worried about?

Glitched Account

So when I use my email to sign into Xbox live rewards it signs me in and everything but when I look at the drop down bar it shows a different email than what I signed in with. That email is not accoiated with any Microsoft account anymore and isn’t even
on my own Microsoft account. So why is it when I sign into the rewards with my Microsoft email it shows another AND shows my old Xbox 360 gamer picture instead of my current one ? Also when I click “my account” when I’m on the rewards page it brings me to
my account and it shows all my accurate information etc. this is preventing me from earning progress for my rewards

My xbox account

so I'm having a problem with my Xbox One account every time I log in online Microsoft it shows out totally different account than mine that I'm using it shows no games a different picture in a different name

We use the billing email for your account to send emails. You can change this information by going to the commerce page at (https://account.microsoft.com/), selecting "Edit your billing info", and then changing
your billing email from that screen. If you have only recently updated this information, it can take some time for our page to update.

Yes it will allow you to complete various different things for reward points but their is numerous ways for you to add reward points to your account. Check out your rewards dashboard in your account at Microsoft.com. It will show you all those different
ways.

As long as you made the purchase using the same email address as the one you use for the Rewards program (there's no way to sign into your Rewards account on microsoftstore.com), the credits should show as pending about 15 days after the console shipped.

The free game would have been included with whichever console you purchased.

Even though they expected you to use a link that was presented inside your rewards account once you logged in. That was the issue, the email and the site where the email sent you did not specify that you needed to make the purchase from inside of your rewards
account. So you are saying as long as the emails match, the one from the rewards account and the one used for the purchase at Microsoft store the points will be rewarded.

There could be several different reasons why an account doesn't show up. If they're not a rewards member or have already been referred previously they won't show up. Or if they just started their account it may be too soon for them to show up.

Its the same email everywhere. Its all the same account but it shows different info.
