Reward points reset

Ranks reset each year (normally on September 1 but they extended it to January 1). It's just per the terms of the offer.

Are you talking about Microsoft rewards points? If so then they keep accumulating.

If you don't mean Microsoft rewards points, please give more information

Its my rewards points you get every day. I had almost 8k rewards points now I've been reset.

Your Microsoft Rewards points will never expire. You can literally just keep hoarding them. Some prizes cost upwards of 10,000 rewards points, so if they expired... it'd be unfair to people trying to reach those goals wouldn't it?

I've used Microsoft Rewards for a better part of a few years and its a great program. You don't ever have to worry about losing points unless you spend them yourself.

Remember that despite accumulating the points every month, at some point everything you accumulate in your account can be restarted so be on the lookout to spend your points and not lose them
