I have spoken to Irene M of your online chat support who has requested that I post my this again and assured me that someone will add the points to my account.

I purchased an Xbox one s in November 2016 under the promotion of 50,000 reward points. The purchase account email address is *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***. My gamer tag email address is *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***. I use separate account for security reasons.

I have tried on numerous occasions to get the points added to my gamer account. These have not been credited to my account.

Unfortunately, we cannot credit one account for actions done on another account. Since your console purchase was made before registering into the Rewards program on this rash2020 account, (your purchase on November 25th was made before your registration
in December), your purchase was not eligible for this offer.

Did you purchase the Xbox One S the promotional period? If not (including buying it before then), it's unlikely the Rewards programme will award you the points.

Yes, points can expire. All promotional points, including Rewards points, expire about a year after you receive them. Points you purchase do not expire.

It seems as though when you have an issue like this, the system sees those points that Microsoft added as being promotional points and they end up expiring about a year later. I have heard of people calling Microsoft about that and having the points added
back, but I'm not sure how likely that is to happen.

Microsoft Points you purchase never expire, but MS Points you acquire through promotions such as Xbox Rewards do have an expiry period, and will be removed after a period of time if not used.

Unfortunately, you have to purchase an Xbox One X and/or Far Cry 5 DURING the promotion period in order to receive the rewards points.
