    "Reward Expired."


    Last Tuesday (April 3, 2018), I received a message from Xbox Live on my Xbox One stating, "You unlocked a free $10 Xbox Gift Card for going Gold! Click 'Launch site' and redeem by 6/30/19 and spend within 90 days of redemption."

    I clicked on the link, but it directed me to a page saying the offer had expired.

    Prior to activating one month of Xbox Live Gold, I hadn't had it for 6 months. I had several friends send me invites, which apparently came with a promotion of one free month of Xbox Live with any activation of one month or more, but even trying to claim those
    promotions, they said they were expired, despite being only a few days old. That was almost month ago, so to see this message a week ago surprised me, and then annoyed me because it also claimed to be expired.

    What's going on here?

    Rewards doesn't know I'm gold

    Rewards has been nagging me to renew gold, and now thinks it's expired. My gold never expired and is renewed through June. GT: SwordofWhedon

    Got My Money Refunded When I Put SO mUCh work into geting all those points

    Keep in mind that any funds from promotions or the Rewards program has an expiration date. If they were from the Xbox Rewards program, they expire 1 year after deposit. If they were from the Microsoft Rewards program, they expire 90 days after redemption.

    Sorry for your trouble. Currency cards should not expire only the money that you receive from doing such things like Xbox Live Rewards or Bing Rewards will expire. Currency that your using from your own wallet shouldn't expire though.

    Unfortunately the rewards do expire I believe. Just for future reference, if you use your points to purchase money for your account that money will expire in 3 months or something like that.
    That's for the Microsoft Rewards program, not the Xbox Rewards program.

    Unfortunately not, points that are obtained via a promotion (Xbox LIVE Rewards, Bing Rewards, Dashboard promotion, etc) have an expiration date on them. There's no way to get points back that have expired, sorry :(.
