Reward Credits Not Being Paid Again - Try 2

Hello

I posted here nearly a month ago because my Xbox Live Rewards Credits had again not been deposited and the topic was locked with the ambiguous response of "The Payment Operations team is working on this deposit issue" meaning there was no way to request
further information or an update so I am posting again in the hope of getting this resolved.

Last time this happened, after chasing up the issue on multiple occasions I was told a similar story and that the issue would soon be sorted out. In the end it took over 6 months at which point it still wasn't fixed and a manual payment was made. This turned
out to not be much money so hardly worth all the effort I had had to invest.

After years of people posting about an issue which appears to be fairly straightforward, it is hard to believe no-one has found a way to resolve it yet. It appears my account has more than one billing account and there is no way for anyone to remove the
duplicates or set a primary one.

Is a solution out there and what is the ETA?

Rewards not being deposited

My rewards are not being deposited. The last time they were deposited was around 6 months ago. Before then it had been around 2 years. I have roughly 20,000 credits that will not deposit.

Please could an MS member of staff look into why my rewards credits are not being deposited.

Trade-Ins

After you've beat a game, do you keep it to play again later, or do you trade the game in for store-credit towards another game? Personally, we keep all our games and play them over and over again, because (number 1) we only buy games that we like enough to play more than once and (number 2) the store credit is always a rip off compared to what you paid for the game in the first place.

Unfortunately, the other team working on resolving this issue has not provided us with a solid resolution date. While they have been making progress on the issue, they have not yet completed their investigation and provided us with a full solution for this

Support will double check and post back here, but keep in mind that rebates are calculated after the end of the month and given by the 15th of the next month. So it's too early to see credits pending for June purchases.

Hello Tibbdog,

Your purchase in May went towards the Retro Rewards offer. Since you cannot get Credits from both an offer and MyVIP, those purchases did not award payback. From our FAQ:

What type of Rewards can I earn?

In addition to our special events and offers, there are two easy ways to earn Rewards Credits each month; by completing missions or special offers, or with a MyVIP Star Rank. To see current
missions, visit the MyMissions page. For more details, please see the Terms and Conditions. Don't forget to check back often to see what's new, as missions are updated frequently!

To learn more about your MyVIP Star Rank, which gives you a percentage back on what you buy in the Xbox Store, visit the MyRewards page. Once you have earned at least 1 Star, you'll start earning each month
based on your qualifying purchases from the previous month.

Please note: Xbox Live Rewards members may not earn Rewards Credits for multiple offers based on performing the same action. For example, your purchases made to complete a monthly mission won't also be eligible for MyVIP.

Regarding your June purchases, also from our FAQ:

When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?

The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you'll receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the program's current deposit
terms. Be sure to keep an eye on MyStatement on the
MyRewards page to track your progress and watch your Rewards Credits total grow!

We have not yet calculated last month's MyVIP, so it is too early to see the Credits pending.

Hi Robin. Unfortunately, we are unable to do manual deposits now. The Payment Operations team is working on this deposit issue. Sorry for the inconveniences.

Then call the rewards "Payback Credits Februari" so people understand, Rewards Team. Cause yes there is something dated with 28th Feb, but it's describtion looks more like a bonus for being VIP then being the Payback Credits.
