    Returning faulty controller time limit


    Hi

    I need to return an xbox controller. Purchase date was 10/1/2023.

    The return label was created on 17/1/2023.

    It says i have 30 days to return controller vis ups label.

    Does it have to reach microsoft within the 30 days or do I have to post it before the 30 days are up.

    You can still send in your controller since it's still within the 30 days period. Your shipping is still valid. Once it's scanned or updated by the courier, it will notify Microsoft about your shipment. Please note that the replacement status online from Microsoft may not be real-time.

    Refund service order instead of getting another replacement

    I did not activate the Microsoft warranty as it was out of warranty and I had to purchase the replacement controller that was sent to me. The controller is faulty and I want a refund of the replacement order and return the faulty controller sent to me

    Have you tried updating the firmware of the controllers. That might fix the issue. If it doesn't, then the controller might be faulty. These do happen from time to time. Just return the Xbox were you got it from and either get money back or a replacement.

    You're not going to be banned for a faulty controller.
