    Return order arrived at El Paso return center, but I received an email regarding a NEW...


    Like the title says

    I returned an item to MS, an Xbox item. It arrived at the return center a little past noon today, 2 hours later I receive 2 emails at the same time talking about "Your service order has been created" and "Information regarding your Microsoft return shipping label" for THAT same device I sent in and was delivered to MS today.

    Should I be worried about this, they haven't scanned the original label to show that "hey your device arrived, we'll process it next business day"

    The service order email I received today doesn't even show up in my account... so what's going on, I checked to see if they accidentally emailed me the shipping label they were to use to send me the replacement, and no- it says "Ship to MS return center, El Paso TX"

    I don't know if this is something I should keep my eye on, be concerned about, relax and let MS do their thing, or if this has happened to anyone else who may have input on how it ended up for them.

    It was an expensive item as well, so

    I understand you are concerned with your package being sent to MS.

    If I may ask, is this about a service for your Xbox? Did you use the shipping label that was for your order to be returned?

    If you have followed the correct process in returning an item then there is nothing to be worried about as this email is system generated and is possibly because of the item being delivered.

    Sorry to hear about what happened with your controller. If you have used the shipping label from your order then you do not have to worry about it because that label already has your service order number. It should still be delivered back to you within the time frame and as it should. Hopefully this time, it will be with no issues already since this has been sent multiple times. But for as long as your controller does not go beyond the time frame of 21 business days then you should be good.

    It was an Elite Series 2 controller. I used the label they attached in the email they sent me around 4 hours after I sent in the service request.

    I'm just confused as to why they sent me another label after my controller was delivered to the return center warehouse. I have no update as to whether or not they scanned my controller, I usually get an email saying "your device has arrived!" meaning they scanned it within the next few hours after UPS notifying me that my parcel was delivered.

    I just don't know if this is just me overthinking this situation, or if it's indeed something to raise an eyebrow at. I've sent in this same controller at least 6 times with similar results in return, controller has a defective ABXY or Thumbstick issue, but this is beside the point, my point is- I've done absolutely nothing different in regards to packaging, printing the label, getting the package out in a timely manner, absolutely nothing different this time in comparison to all the other 5-6 times I've done this. (not to include the amount of times I've sent back the basic XSX controller, which was like 8 times) so why are they sending me this label and not having scanned my device.

    I know I sound privileged, and it's not that I assure you- it's purely and merely frustration of not being able to be comfortable with a costly item I've bought because there's a defect with it and I have to send it back over and over and over. Then this happens and it's just like stoking the fire of frustration.
