Retrieving Gamertag Help

Hi everyone

I just got my Xbox back from it being repaired and reset. When I logged back in, I only had the one profile (EvaWolfie700) though my other gamertag (X) is what I used for most of my games, so all my game data is on there. I can't figure out how to get
it back for the life of me, so if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks!

Good day

Of you remember your email and password you can just sign in with it and it will show all your games etc under the ready to install section. If you dont remember you will have to do as mentioned by steeledwand.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this difficulty recovering your main gamertag.

I would suggest that if you haven't yet, try out the steps outlined in our online support guide entitled

Find your Microsoft account email address.

When you get a chance, give the guide a click-through, give those steps a shot, and let us know how that helped.

Hello, to go back to remove this profile or make a factory hard reset or simply delete this profile and then put your main player profile, I hope you remember the email and password. Also try on PC from the Xbox app or the Web to help you

If you do not remember the email for the EvaWolfie700 gamertag you can contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and if they can verify ownership of the account they can give you the email address that is associated with that account.

The way they would verify ownership is:

They would look the account up with the gamertag.

Once they pull the account before it shows them any information it has them hit a button and it will then send a code to ANY email and/or phone number that is on the account (It does NOT show them what email/phone number it is being sent to for security
purposes it just has them hit a button and it sends it to whatever is on the account) with a 6 digit code if you receive that code you can give them that code and then they can get into the account and see what the email is and give it to you.

At that point if you do not remember what the password for the account is you can try and recover the account by going to account.microsoft.com/acsr and fill out the account recovery form.
