Retrieving a serial number

i still dont know what my serial number is

The box should have a serial number on it. Also, where did you register your console? If it wasn't over the phone or at myservice.xbox.com then it is not registered in their records.

If you are not able to track down the serial, have the police contact the Microsoft legal hotline. The legal department can act as intermediary between someone at Microsoft that can view what serial your profile was used on last and provide that to the police.
At least, they should be able to, since the investigation team uses a console serial and id to verify that your profile was downloaded to a different console.

First, please allow me to tell you that I'm really sorry about your situation, but the Xbox 360 console serial number is located only in two places: On the front of the console, behind the oval USB door and On the back of the console, just above the A/V
port.

But there may be another solution, I think that if you take the box to the store where you bought your xbox and they scan it, they may have the serial number in their system, because they need to report that your xbox was sold.

Xbox accounts are usually removed after 5 years of inactivity.
