    Retired MSP and Converted to currencies


    Dear All,

    I am leaving in a country where Xbox is not official release, and there is no support from MS. If I remembered correctly, the MSP was expired last year, and my MSP was converted to Currencies. And now MS is going to expire my money as well. I seldom purchase
    games except during holidays seasons. And it is approaching now.

    Does anyone know how can I transfer all these money to my kids? Because I don't really play games, and I don't know what to buy.

    **** Ignore the grandmother stories below if you do not have time.

    The main reason I don't purchase games on Xbox (unlike PS4) is, MS made is *** difficult and unfair for customer like me. All these while I have been facing Region Lock issue. Many games purchased but cannot play (MS don't even bother to label clearly what
    game is belong to what region). Even coupons or content purchased online also facing the same problem.

    Besides that it is the Pricing. I log in using my account the game cost USD19.9, but if I let my kids sign in, they see only USD14.99. So they are disappointed with me (as well as me). Now I have no choice but to consume all my remaining currencies before
    it expire.

    "No msp after update to redeem" so u mean to tell me in the 2 days or so time before the beta would kick in I wont be able to find msp codes anymore? Makes little sense if bing rewards is still offering msp codes and xbox rewards is still racking up msp.
    Also, no matter what the codes will still be out there even if its just ppl who hung onto them. So yes, there will still be codes in the futre, my question is are they still gonna be redeamable meaning do the codes work? Do the msp u would have gotten from
    the code get auto converted after msp is retired. I allready know msp are being retired, its still unknown to me if the msp gts autoconverted or if its totaly invalid to redeam. Also, beta testing to find out does me no good if my current msp gets converted
    but find out codes are all invalid immidiately being that I DO use bing rewards and xbox rewards. Id rather save up msp on my account before the final release that forces the conversion on every1 so that I can actualy have something in my account after the
    release instead of being forced to use paypal or a credit card until money prepaid cards become available for the new payment system.

    Feel cheated by the promise of "no expiry" when purchasing "Microsoft Points".

    If you don't convert, the MSP would turn worthless once the program retires. Which means, the "promise" of "no expiry" that was attached to the sale of MSP was "not honored".

    1st question: Yes codes for currency will be made and codes for MSP will still be accepted and be auto converted over



    2nd question it will be just like MSP but instead of points its your currency, so yes its one way, but MSP were also one way



    3rd question you can contact official support at
    support.xbox.com/contact-us     to remove the lock, just so you know US and Canada escalations are taking 20 business days to complete right now

    If your MSP has been converted to currency then it's only usable and visible on a Beta console.
