Restarting without deleting an Xbox/Microsoft account

This is what I was thinking to do;

Go through all friends and remove them

Change Gamer Tag

Remove ability for anybody to see online (not really all that important)

Assume this would make it impossible for anybody previously 'friend's' with my son to contact him again?

Report the people and what they are doing first.

You can block them and that will remove your son from their follow listing and hide his online status to their account. The blocked account cannot message him.

You can change the gamertag without losing the games you have as they are tied to the email address of the account not the gamertag.

it is unfortunate if you feel the need to do something this severe but I certainly understand. Please remind your son if you go to this length then i would suggest he not contact any of the previous people with the new account as then it could go to all
the others again if they know each other.

Changing his gamer tag and his privacy settings would be ideal. If he has never changed his gamer tag from the default one that he was given, he can change it for free. If he has changed the default one then it would cost $10 to change it again. Cheaper
than creating a new account and adding Gold to it. By changing it he would still keep all his achievements that he has unlocked. Making sure to block the offenders before removing them will keep them from being able to reach out to your son. He needs to
be careful to not reach out to them after changing the gamer tag otherwise they will have the new name. I would maybe change the profile picture as well just so visually the account looks completely different. It's unfortunate that your son has had to deal
with this and I commend you on reaching out to us for help resolving the issue. I game with many kids and pride myself in being an appropriate and positive role model for them. If you want someone like that in his gaming life feel free to add me and send

In case of any pressure on your child, there must be a response. Mute, block, and report all of them. That kind of behavior can't be tolerated. Especially with young children. I wish you both the very best and good luck.

Tal cual no hay una manera de ser invisible para la comunidad pero lo que si puedes hacer es cambiar la privacidad de la cuenta de tu hijo.

Puedes ir a a condición de privacidad y desde ahí elegir quien puede ponerse en contacto con el, quien puede agregarlo, mandarle mensajes.

tristemente esto no evitara el bullying pero es una manera de comenzar a cuidarse.

Otra accion que puedes hacer es que las personas que lo agredan tienes la posibilidad de reportar sus mensajes, audios y su comportamiento.
