Restart a game when it get stuck On XBox One?

Someone let me know how to restart a game after it get stuck on the main screen or blank screen on Xbox One. I don't want to get up and take the game out and put it back in. there has to be a way to restart a game once it get stuck.. Let me know.

When I turn my Xbox one on it gets stuck on the Xbox loading screen and then restarts itself

when I turn my Xbox one on it gets stuck on the green Xbox loading screen for about 30secs-1min and then restarts itself over and over again.

 

when updating games it gets stuck

Just launch a different app or game. Then go back to the home screen and scroll over to game that is stuck or blank. Press the menu button select close.. If that doesn't keep it from freezing, then I suggest doing the power cycle.

1. Hold the menu button down while holding a finger on the white xbox logo on the console, for 8-10 seconds until the entire unit turns off.

2. Wait 30 seconds and restart. This will clear your DRAM memory, and help with cache problems.

 

You don't have to launch another app or game. Just press the Xbox button to go home or say "Xbox go home", highlight the game in the main window, press the Menu button, select "Quit", and then relaunch the game. If that doesn't work, the restart as Rod
