Resolution dropped to 640*480

Mostly in the resolution threads mgzin. They drop a lot of amusing gifs as well.

Ok what resolution are you trying to run

If 4k that's why

Series s isn't meant to run at 4k

1440p at most bit if you want more fps drop the resolution

960p at 120fps os optimal

3d is crap, you lose too much resolution and the frame rate drops. 2d is amazing.

After building 6k worth of rig, it surprises me that you don't know that framerate drops are the first sign of an inadequate GPU. There doesn't have to be any artifacting, or anything else, but simply that the GPU is not handling its output resolution, irrespective
of native render. The second indication that this is the case, is when dropping the resolution results in a smoother framerate.

The third indication is when testing this on a game engine that is set at a middling resolution, optimised for framerate and performs as intended 99% of the time and then lowering the output resolution...with the result that framerate smooths out. In-engine
stutter and slowdown will happen across all resolutions, as it's the engine itself not handling object calculations, not render resolution.

The engine running CoD is fixed at 640p.

For me, I couldn't care less about the resolution, yes its important (we want minimum 720p) but for me, I notice frame rate drops and effects far more than resolution.
