    Resident Evil 4 (backwards compatible) Keeping Game Time Running While In "Instant On" Mode


    I'm playing Resident Evil 4 via Xbox Series X backwards compatibility. Anytime I pause the game (my Series X is set for "instant on" mode) I notice my game's timer continues to run. For example, if I pause, turn the Series X off, and come back 3 days later, I would have gained 72 hours on my next save! I've been living with it for the past few days, but for Resident Evil 4 this is not optimal. For your game time counts towards your grade at the end of the game.

    Resident Evil 4 on Xbox 360

    If you own a digital copy of Resident Evil 4 on Xbox 360, it should be available to download and play on your Xbox Series X because it is listed as a backward compatible game.
    It's not backwards compatible. The Xbox One port of the game works on the Series X, but the 360 version is not playable on the Xbox One or Series X|S.
