Resident evil 2, help about the different modes

Hi!

Just finished Resident evil 2 remake with Leon for the first time.

Have searched around but found different answers.

Should i start Claire first play or second run now?

What is realy the difference between Claire A and B?

Someone say that B is shorter?

The thing is that i realy enjoy the game and want to get the hole story. But i dont want to play a short campagn with claire or play the same game 4 times or even two times if the game is just the same no matter what one u choose, someone say it’s very different
and someone say it’s the same game in a/b with both?

How mutch new stuff will i play if i choose claire A after finishing Leon A? And what do i dont get to see if i go right on claire second run and skip the first run?

Appriciate the advice i could get here and i wait to choose my second play before i get some information. It’s realy confusing about A/B with two different characters.

I'd suggest playing through each character at least once to get the full story and experience. Then after that, play a 2nd play through for one of them along with the other modes.

the story itself does not change, that is the end will always be the same regardless of the order, but the canon story is first with claire and then with lion

Now i understand that the "right" choise would be to play Claire B as next.

I just tried 15 min with Clarie B then i switched to Claire A for 15 min. On B as you know they skipped the beginning. Chopper already crash and this stressfull scenario mr x already shows up on the screen in B (making me stress and just want to leave the
building) and it would be harder to explore and unlock everything with him hunting you

Just with 15 min in each a and b it seems kinda different with both modes vs leon A. Claire A she is on the way to rescue a police guy vs be hunted from mrX. But this is only the beginning.

My big question would be the main differences between Claire a and b, since when im done with Claire B i havent done A since my first play was Leon A.

Appriciate your answers, if you guys need to spoil to tell differences between Claire a and b it’s all good offcourse

Claire B is whats happening at Claire's end while you where running the Leon story line and its the same if you where to play Claire A followed by Leon B. I can't really comment on the length of the B story as i have yet to do a complete run though. the
B story (from what i have played so far) does have different puzzles to sort out and its quite refreshing to see what's playing out while the other game play was running the course.

Want to know then I tell you:

A and B scenarios (regardless of the character) are part of a whole story for example if you finish Leon's story then I suggest you play Claire's story in the B scenario, is the same story but different route and get unique weapons exclusive for scenario
B (in which wont't tell btw to avoid spoilers) and face the true boss at the very end of the game (won't spoil that either) and get the true ending of the game. In the original it was made that way as well some changes happened in this game that I recommend
to watch in youtube after you finished the game. Text Resident Evil original vs remake on Youtube and you will understand.
