There is two options when you reset the xbox. One is to delete everything including games and apps, the other is to keep games and apps. So if you selected the 1st option, then you would lose everything on the console. Any game saves, you lose, can be resysynced to the console when you start the games. As for Games themselves, you just redownload them from your game library.

Problems with storage on Xbox one

I was about to lose it when I just kept unplugging the drive, then hard resetting my system (holding power for 10 seconds). I eventually got it to work like this.

First I unplugged the drive and did a hard reset.

I booted the xbox one back on with the drive disconnected.

I plugged the drive in, it was not recognized (this is a good thing, you're not supposed to be able to plug in a drive while it's on)

I turned it off to standby mode (not a hard reset)

I left the external drive plugged in and turned it back on.

It was recognized and I could sort by drives when viewing games.

I think it was the hard reset and reinit with the drive unplugged that made it so it would let me sort by 2 drives again. No idea why this bug isn't fixed yet, it's not hard to get.

Experiencing input lag and I don't know why.

If you have anything plugged into the USB ports, like a hard drive. Remove that and try a hard reset.

Hard reset the Xbox by holding down the power button on the front of the Xbox for 15 seconds. After the 15 seconds let go of the power button then restart the Xbox.
Hey, thanks for the reply. I have tried the hard reset, I don't have anything plugged in the USB port either.
