So I reset my Xbox One S that was enrolled in Xbox Insiders Preview (Omega). Bad idea, I know, but I was never informed that reseting is a non-starter and didn't figure that out until it was too late.[1] Since my system was enrolled in the Preview I am, of course, stuck on the "Something Went Wrong" screen on startup. Specifically, Error E203. After many hours of troubleshooting with Microsoft Customer Service[2] (half of whom appear completely unaware that Xbox Insiders Preview is even a thing that exists) I was informed that I could log in to the Xbox Insiders Hub app on Xbox or Windows 10 and "remove device" in order to maybe, hopefully, push the most recent public build to the device within 72 hours. Obviously doing that on my Xbox is out of the question since it won't even boot so I partitioned my Mac to run Windows 10 just for the occasion! Except when I logged in the device isn't listed in the Insiders Hub app. I can see the console listed under "devices" on my Microsoft/Xbox account but, for whatever reason, it's not associated with my account in Xbox Insiders Hub app.

Of course after this experience I'm very much completely done with the Xbox Insiders Program entirely and have no desire whatsoever to keep my account. I'd like to delete it both (a) in hope that deleting the account will expedite a fix since there isn't a device listed for me to remove and maaaybe will push the public build to my console when I reset it again and (b) to remove any association I have with the program lest it fudge things up even further.

But, having learned my lesson for all-things-Xbox-Insider-Preview that taking very reasonable (and sometimes even officially suggested by Microsoft!) troubleshooting steps can and will fork you over, I am here to ask: Given the facts above, is it safe to delete my Xbox Insider Account while my console participating in the Preview Program is bricked or will deleting my account somehow manage to make an already terrible situation even worse?

[1] Would it kill Microsoft to put that in the Xbox Insiders Agreement? I'm probably one of the few people who actually read it all before I joined and it's not mentioned once.

[2] Would it kill Microsoft to offer just a smidgen of customer support for those of us kind enough to offer our devices up for experimentation?

My xbox one needs an update every second or third day.

I also have this issue except I cannot turn it off. I purchased my Xbox pre-owned and it already had the Preview Omega program enrolled in the insider hub and I can't unenroll because it asks that I sign in with the account that signed up for it or something
like that. I obviously don't have that account

    Xbox PreView Program

If you are referring to the insider program simply go to the enrolled xbox and open the Insider app

Scroll to the right and it should tell you what program you are in such as Omega, Delta, Beta or Alpha

Press A on the words you are currently enrolled in ...

    Go to manage

At the bottom it should say which ones you are now eligible to enroll and at the very bottom un-enroll

Xbox One X OS Version 18363.9133.amd64fre.19h1

No I bought it 2nd hand, Actually I think 3rd Hand
"MY Xbox One X OS Version 18363.9133.amd64fre.19h1_release_xbox_dev_2002.200211-1645"

This version is still Beta, Delta, or Omega OS preview, so the console is enrolled in the Insiders.

    Menu issues

Insider Hub is required to check enrollment in a Preview ring.

Did you power reset you console as advised above?
