Reset xbox 360 cloud save data for a single game

I have deleted an xbox 360 save data from the cloud and I have cleared my local xbox 360 save data on my xbox one, but when I load a 360 game it still loads all my old data. How can I fully reset the data for a single xbox 360 game?

If you still have your Xbox 360 you would need to enable and transfer your save data to the cloud on the Xbox 360 and then your save data will be waiting for you when you boot up an Xbox 360 compatible game.

Why can't I save my 360 game save files on my Xbox One hard drive?

When it prompts me to "Select a Device" for local save data it only gives me the option to save on "Cloud Saved Games". I'd rather save them on my local Xbox One hard drive as I only have 2GB for cloud saves. I've looked for a solution but have only found
topics relating to recovering 360 save data from 360s onto Xbox Ones via cloud storage. Is there a way to save local data onto my hard drive rather than use cloud storage?

Hi!

In X360 you can choose a different storage to save your progress (such as an external HDD). In alternative, in X1 there is the possibility to remove data saved on the cloud, as specified in the

guide. As a last way, you can create a new account and start the game again.

Hi Saalikh,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question on save data. If the console is an Xbox one all save data is automatically

saved to the cloud. Once you launch the game again it will get the save from the cloud by saying (syncing data for (name of game)).

If the console is an Xbox 360 and you enabled cloud saves then it will work same as Xbox one. If you haven't enabled cloud save, it will delete it completely.

Happy to take a look at this with you, for starters have you successfully moved your save data from the Xbox 360 into the cloud to download on the Xbox One? Also are you using the same profile on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One? Here is a guide that will show
you how to move the save data from the Xbox 360 into the cloud.
Copy, move or delete Xbox saved games, profiles, and avatar items.

Make sure the save data is in the cloud and let us know how that goes!

Saves are stored on the Cloud, the game data is erased when performing a factory reset. If you use that account on any Xbox, the saves are automatically downloaded from the cloud.
