Discus and support reset 60hz setting in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; my son changed the 60hz to 120hz and now we can't see the xbox one because my tv doesn't support 1210hz. how do i reset the xbox one back to 60hz?...     Sorry to hear it. You'll need to force an option to reset the console. There's an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them and your saves are safe on the cloud.

    Please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. Then unplug it for 30 seconds. When you power on quickly hold the Sync button (left side near the USB port on the original Xbox One and just below
    the power button on the S and X consoles) and the Eject button for the console until you hear a second start up noise.

    You should now see a new screen. Scroll over to Restart/Reset and reset the console to factory settings. There is an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them.

    Variable Refresh Rate greyed out?

    Currently it is set to 4K UHD and 60Hz. I just tried the hard reset and it's still greyed out.

    Im getting these Vertical Lines on a brand new tv while playing games

    The HDMI 2.0 may only be good for 4k @60hz. The HDMI 2.1 is much better for 4k @120hz.

    Have you tried to set or change those settings from your console? How about factory reset?

    TV is capable of 4k 60hz same time but in display setting only showing 4k no hz

    Have you made sure the setting in the xbox is set at 60hz 🤔

    Disply settings and check the 60hz and check on the TV make sure you dont have to enable anything.

    Picture quality degredation, crushed blacks etc. with HDMI input

    I fixed it!!!! Go to your set top box settings and output it at 60hz! When mine was set to just plain 1080p without 60hz it looked like hell and now it looks perfect.
