Required parameter LegalCountry is missing from input

    Hi

I've been trying to login to xbox live in a new account, but it doesn't let me do it

The problem lies behind the "choose how you look on xbox" page, where everything seems fine, but pressing the "let's go" button reveals... nothing.

I've tried to inspect to the network requests and seems like the page tries to sends a CreateAccountWithClassicGamertag request (a POST request), but fails due to the request not having the required "LegalCountry" parameter in the URL (Error 400)

Resending the request with this parameter gives out a 403 error with no context

Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

    :)

    Hi HoseanRC

    Greetings!

Thank you for publishing in Microsoft Community.

We understand that you are having trouble logging in to Xbox Live with a new account due to a missing parameter error. I'm here to help you with that.

Based on the error message you provided, it seems that the issue is related to the missing "LegalCountry" parameter in the URL. This parameter is required to create a new Xbox Live account. Without it, the request will fail, and you won't be able to proceed with the account creation process.

To resolve this issue, I recommend that you try the following steps:

    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies. Sometimes, cached data can cause issues with web pages, including missing parameters.

    2. Try using a different browser or device to create your Xbox Live account. This can help rule out any issues with your current browser or device.

    3. Ensure that you have selected the correct country in the "choose how you look on Xbox" page. This may affect the required "LegalCountry" parameter.

For more information you may visit this support link: Update your Microsoft account if you’re moving to a new country or region | Xbox Support

I hope this helps you resolve the issue. We look forward to your response.

    Thank you,

    Microsoft Gaming Services

This popped up. I believe I've tried this method before but did not restart my computer afterwards.

    PS C:\Windows\system32> get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage allusers

Xbox Games won't run on my PC

    Hi,

So I gave the steps you recommended a try but it seems to still have the same issue. With regards to PowerShell, the command doesn't run and say the line highlighted below:

"remove-Appxpackage: The input object cannot be bound to any parameters for the command either because the command

does not take pipeline input or the input and its properties do not match any of the parameters that take pipeline

    input.

    At line:1 char:44

    + ... et-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage allusers

    + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    + CategoryInfo : InvalidArgument: (Microsoft.Gamin...__8wekyb3d8bbwe:pSObject) [Remove-AppxPackage], Para

    meterBindingException

    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : InputObjectNotBound,Microsoft.Windows.Appx.PackageManager.Commands.RemoveAppxPackageComm

    and"

I did try to run the line independent of each other but that doesn't really seem to do anything other then verify a few things. Any other steps you'd recommend? Or maybe I'm inputting the line wrong on PowerShell?

    Why disenfranchise loyal Xbox fans?

That changes nothing about the mic array nor would I be surprised if the XB requires are new calibration because apparently the parameters changed.
