"Requesting Character Load" problem

Morning folks

Overall I haven't had many problems with the game but over the last 24 hours or so when I "Request Character Load" ... it doesn't always load in first time, basically I get an error message with ... "Please make sure you have a valid internet connection" ...
Usually shutting the game down, loading it back up sorts it out.

I know the game ( which I'm loving ) has some teething issues but just wondered if anyone else has experienced this as it's only just started happening to me. I've checked my connection, all seems fine there, OPEN NAT etc so I'm gathering it's just another
bug at the moment?

"Character not found" Problem

I'm trying to play the game with a friend and no matter how many times we delete and add each other or reset our xboxs we can't play with one another. The "join tab is greyed out and when I search for my friend in the social tab they "don't exist" even
though they're online and playing the game. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance

 

Fallout 4 won't get past load screen

What was the fix? I have the same problem =)

 

I think the game was having maintenance or something last night, was having same issue as you. Got on dis morning without a problem so who knows.

 

I have 2 characters. One won't load at all, and the other works fine. I sent a help ticket in but they had nothing helpful to tell me.

 

I was progressing normally today, ready to sail from Stros M'Kai to Betnikh, when I got the same crap response from the servers. First, it warns that it may be an unusually long load time (oh oh, I've seen that one before!). Then it kicks me out saying I
need to check my Internet connection (which, of course, is working just fine). Then I simply can't get back in. Why did they sell this game for $60 if they're not ready for us? Maybe it's time to consider some refunds.
