Request to install a game that i already have downloaded

I already subrcribed to Xbox Live Gold. As the game requested.

Then it requested to download the multiplayer packs....cannot remember the names of the packs but there are two of them. So MW3 said to go to my game and then manage options to install those two packs there. I did as it requested and it says installed.

Now everytime I try to go live it still throws out the request on MW3 to install the 2 packs but it is already installed.

If that makes it a bit easier to understand and for you to be ablebto help me. 😁

i already have warzone installed i bought the game today but its not downloading the game and installing warzone again but already have it installed on 100% dont know what to do any help

Game saves are separate from game installs/downloads. Also, the install file is different than the download file. So you would not be able to use the install without the disc.

If you install it, the license is provided to the console and it will stick to your console.

But you will need the disc to play it anyway..

The saved progress automatically uploads to a Microsoft account (gamertag) server.

Came to think of one thing more....

When I recently installed a game from disk - I got a question for an update that was requested.

so I said yes.

Then install continued with installing from disk, while also downloading update.

So it was all transparent for me - maybe it's already there.

In my case it was Project Cars GOTY.
