Request for Apple TV App Support on Xbox Series X in South Korea

I am a customer based in South Korea, enjoying both Apple TV+ and the Xbox Series X.

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue that many users like myself are facing.

Apple TV+ is a globally popular service, known for its high-quality content that brings great joy to countless viewers. The service is accessible not only through Apple TV devices and iOS devices but also via various smart TVs and streaming devices. Notably, in other regions, users can access Apple TV+ on the Xbox Series X, which is a testament to the service's versatility.

However, despite the fact that both Apple TV+ and the Xbox Series X are officially supported in South Korea, it is currently not possible to install the Apple TV app on the Xbox Series X in this region. This situation is disappointing for many Xbox users who wish to enjoy Apple TV+ on their consoles.

In light of this, I kindly request the following:

Please provide the necessary technical support and cooperation to ensure that the Apple TV app can be used on the Xbox Series X in South Korea. This would enhance the content experience for Xbox users and add value to your console.

Unfortunately, as this is a community forum, no one here works for Xbox/MS and highly unlikely they will see it.

However, there are many reason why it cant be installed in your region including local laws which have to be adhered to. It can be nothing to do with a technical reason.

Thats because the series x cannot be used for game streaming

Only xbox one

You SHOULD not be using legacy insiders hub on series x or s

It is meant for Xbox one

The os updates are only for xbox one so are the beta tests and xcloud Is NOT supported in China only south korea

The preview is over for other regions so you wouldn't be able ro use extended regions anyways

Insiders hub regular is the only one for series x and s

Its so annoying that I now have to use either TV apps or think about getting an Apple TV because the $600 Series X can't properly do what much cheaper devices can.

If you're going to be in South Korea long enough then buy an XBox ONE and enjoy the games.

Eventually you'll move. Probably the best thing to do will be to sell your South Korean XBox ONE and purchase a new one in the US.

Customer support will help you to move your profile from South Korea to the USA.

You do not have to sell your games as they are region free.

This is just a suggestion from me which I think will afford you the least amount of hassle.
