Request: Enable the Gamepass PC remote installation method to use the "Preferred/default"...

To enable remote downloading of games you need to follow the steps in this article

Make sure you have set up your xbox as your home xbox and enabled your console to be instant on.

I am having a very similar issue that others in this thread are having. I am able to remote install games to my PC from the gamepass app, however all console game just say “queued” and never actually show up in the queue of my Xbox. I have followed all
instructions (instant on, default console, allowing connections etc). The strange thing is the remote install worked in the past, but now all of the sudden its not working no matter what i do.

You can click the game title from your order history to install it via Xbox store or you can use Xbox mobile/ PC app. Just make sure that remote features are already enabled. Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features. Check the box to enable remote features and for Power options, select Sleep mode.

You would have to install the pc anywhere or the gamepass pc version or remote play a game that supports it

Unless your hardware is older then thqt isn't an option
