Try contacting Microsoft Support, maybe they can shed some light. If they don't know anything, maybe Xbox support?

 

You're asking quite late, and you're asking in the completely wrong place.

What you should have done was go to the conference's registration page, and applied there. Unfortunately, that is no longer an option, because you're long past the April 28th deadline.
