Repurchase a game in another Region.

I downloaded a digital game for my 360 in the US (Saints Row 2). I deleted it and want to download it in Mexico. My account shows that I already purchased it and I cannot re purchase it. My region code on my console is Mexico. I know some games are region locked. I want to pay and download it in Mexico.

I'm afraid if you bought the game in the X region you won't be able to buy the same game in the Y region. If you recently purchased the game you can try for a refund and perform the purchase again but you need to be physically located in Mexico and have a Mexico payment method.

Did you try to download the game from your download history on your Xbox?

Sign in to Xbox Live using the Gamertag that you used when you originally purchased the content.

Go to settings and select Account.

Select Download History.

Browse your download history. If you want to download something again, select the item, and then select Download Again.

No. There's no way around region locking. If you go back to India you should be able to redownload it. Otherwise, you'd need to repurchase the game (either on disc or from another account).

Gidting codes are region locked. If your friend is not in the same region as you, he would need to refund the purchase and repurchase the game from somewhere he can get one for your region.

There's no way around the region lock. You would have to create an account from the region you're in and repurchase them.
