    Is there somewhere or someone I can report people who kick people offline which is commonly known as DDOSing. I was wondering if there is a way because I had a run in with a person who gets his mates to do it for him and sad to
    me "enjoy no internet tomorrow" (I have
    the massage as proof) and
    to make this clear he has done
    this before. So is there any way to ban or punish these people?

    This threat is old.

    The only thing you can do is file a complain with your console.

    People who work for Microsoft, do not ban people to do their friends a favor.

    He just lies to you, people love to lie.

    Report him, block communication and move on.

    What he said will have consequences for him not for you.

    Xbox enforcement are the people who will review issues. They have a good site with how-to's on reporting, and reputations:

    You should be able to find what you need there, and info on how to file reports properly.

    Report that message from your Xbox and that person will get a suspension.

    As the others have said, report any user breaking the Code of Conduct through the console.

    If a user is knocking you offline, you need to report it to your ISP as well so they can take action. DDOS do not happen through live. Third party software is needed.

    Just a side not if you were being "TRUELY DDOSED" your internet company would see a disruption in the connection and they would take it from here. If this person you think is doing this multiple times i would phone your internet company to see if there
    was any disruptions in connection so they can deal with it on there end as well.

    Like all others have said REPORTING is really your only way to go about this.

    If Xbox takes action on the player, you would get a message saying so.
    Not always, in fact getting a message like that is actually quite rare.

    Those folks only work for support, they have nothing to do with policy enforcement. That is the job of the XBL PET and as mentioned above the only way to have them take any sort of action against an offensive player is to use
    the tools on your console to file a complaint.
