Reporting on Xbox 1

If an individual whether they are on your friends list or not spams you with invites, that is probably a indication that you shouldn't join or engage them. If they are annoying before you join just block them. You could remove the block when time has
passed. I have had to mute/block friends during gameplay or while in a party until they calmed down. This situation could have been easier if you blocked them right away because the constant invites wouldn't have been showing up. I understand you joined
probably just to get them to stop, but doing so you unfortunately had to deal with the other problems. Sorry that you had to deal with that and I would block and report them. Be careful going forward because there are a lot of people out there that will
bait you into doing something so that they can have something to report you for.

Don't waste time trying to take pictures etc, and do not confront the individual i suggest you block the individual and then just report them You might try to play with more of your friends or dont use the mic .

Just report the player using the tools provided. That is the only method for contacting the Enforcement Team.

Thanks for reaching out to us here in the forums. I am sorry you experienced this situation, i understand how uncomfortable this can be receiving unwanted and harassing communication.

As fellow ambassadors have mentioned, reporting and blocking the person is the best option.

I would like to add as some friendly advice. You can always put your settings to friends only. This will filter out party invites, messages, gamechat from all players that are not your friend. While this might not appeal to everyone, it is a great alternative
for those days when you don't want to possibly get triggered or receive spam invites or harassing behavior. You can change your settings at any time. I can relate and i ended up changing my settings to friends only, and im doing fine on it. I can hear my friends
and receive their messages, if i come across a player i would like to play with again. I add them and therefore can receive communications from them.

Just report, mute and block

Take a few moments and then get back to enjoying your games. By clicking on report, it will prompt an option for reason of reporting, and will give you an option to add details.
