have footage of the offense if possible. That kind of player can cause way more harm if they felt the mood to do so

I had a person who in the lobby said they were going to kick me. I was actually not able to get in Xbox live for hours. The ISP technical person said they can't track these events as easy as that. It would have to be a coordinated event and they rarely
do that unless you have a threat to your person/life or safety. I said how isn't it a threat to my safety as they were able to attack my router, they could have the ability to hack me and steal my identity. His response was that if they went after all gamer
attacks they would not be able to help others that might be under a real actual life threatening issues. So be careful with the advice you are sharing.

Video evidence can't be used to report other users as it can be edited and changed later.

No doubt they sent you messages regarding what they were going to do, which in terms of enforcement is good enough for action to be taken against them.

Call your Internet provider and explain you were taken offline, they can work with law enforcement for a potential criminal prosecution.

As for personal details, unless you gave this person your full address they won't know where you live exactly as IP addresses only provide basic information such as Country, province, city, not exact addresses.
