first of all i only wanted to talk to people who work at microsoft/xbox, not people like you. secondly, you clearly don't understand what i am asking or what is going on so please don't comment towards me again. and if you had half a brain you'd know customer
support is garbage at microsoft. always has been

 

If you're concerned about the seriousness of the offence, my recommendation is contact local law enforcement, provide them with the details of what happened and they can pursue legal means of getting the information.

You won't be told what the enforcement action was at all. Yeah it can suck at times, especially when you want to know that the person is getting punished but that's just the way it is.

 

DDos attacks cannot be investigated by microsoft unless the player actually threatened this through messages to you, Even then they can only ban for communications.

The ddos attack itself DOES NOT occur over xbox live it is directed at your network equipment via your ip address in these cases your best option is to contact your isp the moment the attack happens as they can track and block the person aswell as report
the incident to the police and to the other persons isp.

Also no one can give you information on a players ban or review, Not even the enforcement team will do that.

 

Contact the police and block the person threats you so he can't threathen you again

 

Microsoft can NOT file the DDoS attack to the police on your behalf, as the DDoS attacks are performed "outside" Xbox Live.

You need to contact your ISP so they can provide logs of the DDoS attack, and work with you to file the complaint with the police about the DDoS attack.

As for the punishment: Microsoft will never give out information on the enforcement action they do, exactly to prevent behavior like this. If they tell you "We suspended the account for 24 hours", you will probably go "WHAT?! Only 24 hours? That guy did
[bad thing] and [even more bad things] to me, and I demand that you punish him by giving him 1024 days of suspension and a serious spanking!!! No less than that, or I will sell all my Xbox stuff and go over to PS4"

So, you will have to just rest assured, that they will have punished him accordingly for what they did on Xbox Live.

As for the DDoS attack, you will have to work with your Internet Provider to press legal charges against him. Microsoft can't do anything about that.

DoS and DDoS attacks on Xbox One FAQ. This can only be taken care of by your ISP and if you feel threatened or unsafe still, then contact your local police. They will create a report with you and they will contact us for more information.
