    Hello,

    I’m experiencing persistent issues with streaming quality on the Twitch app for Xbox Series X, along with a feature limitation that affects interactivity. Here are the details:

    1. Streaming Quality Issues:

    • Constant pixelation/artifacts (even at high bitrates).
    • Unstable resolution (e.g., drops from 1080p to 720p).

    2. Feature Request: Cross-Platform Voice Chat
    Currently, the Xbox Twitch app lacks integration for cross-platform voice chat (e.g., allowing streamers to talk with viewers using Discord, PlayStation Network, or mobile devices). This would greatly improve community engagement.

    Suggested Improvements:

    • Add native support for cross-platform voice chat (similar to Discord’s integration on PC).

    I’ve already verified:
    ✅ Stable wired connection (Xbox Series X → Ethernet).
    ✅ Sufficient upload speed (1000 Mbps).
    ✅ No issues when streaming from PC/other devices.

    Chief Xbox One Platform Architect, Marc Whitten, has confirmed that cross-platform voice chat will not be available: "For a variety of technical reasons - including the sound quality that I talked about above - we don't support voice chat between the two
    systems." You will still be able to send text messages cross-platform though. As it currently stands, cross-platform voicing is not looking to be done due to the aforementioned issues.

    You are not able to use solely the Xbox to voice message, voice chat, or voice party cross-platform. Cross-platform Skype is a different situation altogether.

    No. Cross-platform gaming and voice chat (messaging and party) using the Xbox chat system are not possible. You can send text messages or use Skype cross-platform though.

    - we don't support voice chat between the two systems.    " When Major Nelson was asked whether the Xbox One would be able to support cross-platform vocal chat (or Party Chat) with the Xbox 360. He responded with a discouraging comment: "I've asked
    - based on what I know of the voice system, I would be surprised if this was possible.    " So the answer will probably be no for using the console party chat system. However, you can cross-platform between consoles via Skype.
