Replacement xbox for defective console

On Wednesday January 29th I hooked up my series X to be met with the sync button on the console being unresponsive, the USB port not reading my hard drive and I attempted to fix the problem by restarting my xbox, unplugging it then plugging it in again, and multiple other suggestions to fixing it. I called an associate and I was told he would call me Thursday January 30th and he did not call back like I was told. It has been 3 days and I tried calling again and I was denied access to a call. I would like a replacement xbox for this defect.

I am sorry to hear that your Xbox is defective. Have you already registered your Xbox online to submit a request? If not, try registering it online to submit one.

To get started, sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/devices/select-de..., select Register new device using the 12-digit serial number located on the back, and then follow the instructions.

Once registered, find your Xbox at https://account.microsoft.com/devices > Info & Support > Start Order.

In rare cases, such as when you can't register your Xbox or are having issues with the warranty, it would be best to contact Xbox support at https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us. Additionally, you can use the Virtual Agent at https://support.xbox.com/en-US/virtualagent > Type in Contact Xbox Support > Fill out the form randomly > You'll be provided with contact options. You can choose the option you prefer.

Don't think it's the discs sounds like you have a defective console which needs to be replaced/repaired

If you bought this model recently I recommend going to the store and getting it replaced. Sounds like a defective console. It happens.

If your Seagate 2TB external hard drive is NOT detected on any of the USB ports on your Xbox console or PC then it is likely that it has become defective. If the unit is within the warranty period then you can contact Seagate to do a warranty repair/replacement.
When they issue you a RMA then you send your defective drive to their repair depot and they send you back a replacement (this may be a refurbished unit).

I think I will ship my console to Microsoft. No point in getting my retailer to replace it in order to get another defective one.
