Replacement Part for XBOX One Stereo Headset

Hello all,

I bought the XBOX One Stereo headset quite a few years ago. I really like it as a simple gaming headset. However, I accidentally dropped it . The plastic arm connecting the left ear cup snapped in half, so now the left ear cup is just dangling around on
the headband, connected only by the speaker wires. I know I can fix this, I'd just like to have a replacement plastic arm so that I can reattach the ear cup properly.

Is there anywhere I can buy a replacement part for the headset? OFC I'm willing to pay for things like shipping and materials cost. I'd just hate to see the headphones become e-waste.

Thanks or reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on replacement parts. Unfortunately, these are not sold by Microsoft. The only thing sold is complete headsets.

There are quite a few great headsets out there that dont break the bank. I would think of getting one of those or you can stick with that heaadset if you feel more comfortable using that one. There are third parties that fix those devices but i would just
recommend purchasing a better headset. You wont be disappointed in the sound etc

I mean, I know there are other great/cheap alternatives out there. It's just I feel like these headphones are 99% working, and it'd be such a shame to waste them just because of a small broken piece of plastic.

Isn't there anyway Microsoft could just send me a broken unit they have? Or one that didn't pass quality control? I could cannibalise it for the part to fix mine.

I can't speak to your experiences about replacing the headset but I did buy the Xbox one stereo headset that comes with the stereo adapter. It dropped $30 and works a lot better.

I do have concerns with the wiring they decided on as it's similar to the default headset but maybe sale your headset on eBay (for parts) and try another headset of your choosing.
