    Replacement for elite series 2 controller


    I am having a few problems with the triggers which are no longer smooth and make alot of noise, the B button doesn't work and the hairpin slider keeps coming off. I would like a replacement but every time I go to the replacement website and it asks to
    put in the serial number, which I do. It says "we couldn't find that serial number". The controller was bought for me for Christmas so I have no receipt but I know that it is within warranty. What do I do? This controller was really expensive and I want to
    get it replaced but when Microsoft won't acknowledge the serial number it makes it really hard to do.

    Turns out, the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller needed to be replaced.

    Each Elite controller series 2 comes with 1 set of paddles. You can order replacement paddles, thumbsticks etc.

    Series 1 paddles, thumbsticks is not compatible with series 2.

    Warranties cover a like for like replacement if required under that warranty so as far as I know, yes, if you send an Elite series 2 in for replacement you will receive an Elite series 2 back.
