    Replacement controller status. Frustrated


    Hi,

    I sent 2 xbox controllers out for replacement separately in late October (UPS tracking shows Microsoft received one on Nov 2nd, the other on Nov 5th). However, I later got an email from Microsoft saying that they haven't received either control even though both should have been received. Email stated they will cancel replacement request if not received within 30 days (which means now).

    I contacted Microsoft support via phone on 3 separate occasions in November, but I get the same message from the agent stating that they will contact me once the hear back with a notification. Still no word from any of the three agents...

    This is simply inexcusable. I've had my controllers replaced and sent out to me without delay for years, but now I can't even get a response from support?! At the very least just send me a replacement as UPS has received my controllers in early November. Literally haven't even played on my Xbox because my controller, and backup controller, are both out for replacement.

    Anyone here with any tips on how I can better expedite this process?

    It was during the beginning of the pandemic, so that may be the reason for the 2 months delay! I truly hope you get your answer as soon as possible Eugene!

    Hi there Eugene welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. This is from my personal experience, I'm from Latin America and the postal service might be different as well as for the Xbox support I received. Well, my experience was pretty similar, I sent my Elite 2 controller after a week of buying it (pretty rough) sent it, received the email that my controller was delivered to Xbox and then, nothing, nada. I received the same "We don't have the controller here" email, spoke to several people who said I would receive a call when they had something for me. Well, I did receive a call! Two months later... it seems that the delivery company lost my controller and it was going to be taken care of, another month passed! But, at the end I received a new controller. Honestly it was a long process but one with a happy ending!
