Repeatedly sent to the store page when trying to launch an owned/installed game (Wasteland 3)

EDIT: Game comes out in MAY, not MARCH. I'm an idiot.

I'm stuck in a loop that sends me to the Microsoft Store when I try to launch a game.

I pre-ordered Wasteland 3 and have downloaded and installed it. When I try to launch the game it seems to load for a moment, and then takes me to the game page in the Microsoft Store. On that page there's a Play button (like any game I own and have installed),
but when I click that it does the same thing - the Wasteland 3 image comes up, and then it takes me back to the Microsoft Store page again.

It feels kind of like what happens if you try to launch an installed game that isn't available to play yet. But I own it and it was released a couple days ago

(and I've already done all the basics - restart, cycle power, login/out, etc)

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to launch a certain game.

According to the
Wasteland 3 page on the Microsoft website, it states "Available on May 18, 2020, 11:00 PM". In other words you what you have installed on your console is just some pre-install data that serves as a place holder, and as we get closer to the date, the game
will receive a bigger update with the remaining content.

Wasteland Remastered was recently released [2/25/2020], and its possible that there may have been
some confusion between the two.

I hope this was able to clear up any confusion this might have caused.

I'm having a similar issue with GTA V. When recieving an invite, I get promted with the Xbox Store icon when I have the game downloaded. My friends also say that they have 2 copies of the game withe exact same image, whereas I only have 1. I was able to
join one of my friends the other day but he also had the same issue - but he had 2 copies and downloaded the other copy and I get the same Store prompt when he invites me. I have also re-downloaded GTA ( again, the 1 and only copy I see ready to download )
and I have same Store prompt. I contacted Rockstar Games Support and they said to try clearing my cache ( I also told my friends to do the same; as I have 0 idea as to who's having the bugged game ) , we tried that and BAM the same Store prompt smacks me in
the face, OUCH. I then told Rockstar Games Support what happened and they recommend I restart my router ( a lil bit cheeky, I know ) and so now I have 0 **** clue as to whether I'm the one with an issue or if it's my friends and whether or not it's an Xbox
issue or a Rockstar issue... HELLLP!... I BEG.

Launch the Microsoft Store app, then search for the outer Wilds. When the page loads, select install (if you own it). It should then start to install. The download is currently spouting an error code, but that could be an issue on Microsoft's end, or it could be a mistake that the game is on the PC store, hence why the error code shows up.

No. I own the game, installed it from the Microsoft store, and when I launch it, it says "Unlock Full Game"
