Repeatedly reported by the same person for no reason

My son is being reported by the same person - 4 times so far - for 'hate speech'. This person is known to my son, and reports him when my son won't play with him, or do what he wants in a game. This person has told my son and others openly that he is reporting
him, and what he says when he reports him, even though my son has done nothing wrong. My son has just been banned for the second time.

The last time this happened (just a few weeks ago) we repeatedly tried to open a case review but couldn't - after agreeing to the terms and conditons, the page keeps taking us back to the account page. I have been trying to open a case review for the current
ban all afternoon but the same keeps happening.

Why is my son being banned when there is no evidence whatsoever of the accusations this person keeps making? Does no one ever check these reports? How do we open a case review?? This person has discussed getting my son reported and banned openly in chats
and games many times.

Can anyone offer any advice?

I was playing Dead by Daylight and as one of the matches was over by the killer dc i tried to ask my teammates did they get disconnected too and i found out i was reported and cant use chat for 2 weeks I didnt even do anything
toxic or bad i just played some and i guess someone reported me I know that Xbox support cant help but please at least help us stop getting these kind of random reports

 

The enforcement team investigates each complaint they receive. They only issue suspensions if they have determined a person has done something to violate the code of conduct/terms of service. In this situation, it would be best for your son to file a complaint
on the other player and block communications with him.

 

Thank you. He's reluctant to make a complaint against this person as he fears it will escalate the situation - and that it would be seen as retaliation. Do you mean that he can complain about his false reporting of him? We have
now managed to open a case review so I'm hoping this will resolve the suspension. He has definitely not done anything to warrant the suspension so I really don't think they can check every case? And if they did, they would have seen all the instances of this
person threatening to report my son for no reason, and encouraging others to do so too?

 

They thoroughly investigate any report made so your son would have done something to warrant a suspension.

It could be for something comlepetly separate to the situation you have posted about.

Anyone abusing the reporting feature can be suspended them selves.

As Smwutches said,just report & block this person.They will never be told who has reported them so your son has nothing to worry about there.
