Repeated "Your Microsoft Account Needs Fixing" notifications

This message stating that there is a problem with your account does not mean that you have been "hacked". This message indicates that you have a billing issue that you'll need to fix in order to gain access back into your account. Please login to the Microsoft
Billing site here and check to see if there are any invalid/expired payment methods on the account and if there are then remove them off of the account. If you are getting a notification
saying you owe an outstanding balance then that balance will need to be paid before you gain access back to your account, if you don't know why your getting this error and don't see any notifications on the account on the billing site then you will need to
contact phone support and speak with the billing department regarding your account.

I regularly get messages in windows about needing to "fix my microsoft account". I clicked on that notification, then hit the fix account button and it worked after that. I guess I'll have to do this every time I want to play flight simulator.

The reason for the blocking of your account could be an issue with your security settings / notification by: phone number

If it is being used by a second Microsoft account too,

After reactivating your account, try to customize the security settings to notification by alternate email only and see if it goes away. If it does your phone number is in use by another account for notifications.

Please don’t do that, if you refund an item it’s because you need to really need the money back

Repeating those things can lead to:
A. An account closure inside these games
B. A permanent ban for your whole Microsoft account

There's no ETA on when it will be fixed. Once the notification glitch is fixed, it'll show you an end date for your suspension on the notification instead of the permanent wording. Some people have reported the notification now just says suspension instead of permanent ban, so it looks like they've issued a partial fix. You won't get an email when your account is unsuspended. You should just be able to sign back into the console like normal.
