Renewed Xbox 360 subscription not allowing me to play

My Xbox 360 Gold subscription was canceled but I submitted a payment this AM that shows as being accepted, Trying to play Plants versus Zombies but still won't let me in.

Yes, You need to renew your subscription If You want to play this game and all games that were bought through Games With Gold, the only games You don't need to renew your subscription are the games of the Xbox 360, the games of Xbox
One You will need your subscription active

It says I dont have a subscription to Xbox live but I have the 12 month which is to renew in 2015. I try to buy a new subscription but it tells me only a limited of these are allowed on any one account.

I was having this problem too, but adding a new card and transferring my subscription to the new card (even though the subscription was not set to renew) allowed me to remove the old card.

I would like to add that I have this issue, too. Mine is a two month subscription that will not allow me to play online. I have tried signing out and signing back on, and restarting my xbox. I just activated the two month renewal last night.
