SO I SAW THE ADVERTISEMENT RENEW GOLD FOR A BUCK. IN OTHER WORDS GET ONE MONTH OF XBOX LIVE FOR $1

I WANTED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS PROMO BEFORE IT WAS TOO LATE. BUT WHEN I CLICKED ON THE RENEW GOLD NOW BUTTON PROVIDED, IT SHOWED $9.99. SO I DECIDED TO CONTACT MICROSOFT VIA CHAT ONLINE. UPON DOING SO, THE REPRESENTATIVE DIDNT EXACTLY KNOW WHY. HE TOLD
ME THAT HE BELIEVE THAT THE PRICE BEING DISPLAYED WAS NOT UPDATED BUT IF I MADE THE PURCHASE IT WOULD GO THROUGH AS $1. SO HE TOLD ME TO DO IT WHILE HE WAS STILL CONNECTED TO ME. AND SO, I DID.... I CHECKED MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATLY AND SAW I WAS CHARGED $10.38.
($9.99 PLUS TAX).... HE ASSURED ME HE REVERSED IT AND ISSUED ME A REFUND....I DID NOT RECEIVE THE REFUND, I DID NOT RECEIVE 1 MONTH OF XBOX LIVE FOR $1, OR AT ALL FOR THAT MATTER. ALSO, THE ADVERTISEMENT SAYS YOU ALSO RECEIVE A FREE YEAR OF EA ACCESS!!!! I
DID NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING!!!! I WAS CHARGED FOR NOTHING!!!!

THE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME TO POST HERE ABOUT EA ACCESS......................AND SENT ME THIS LINK..... AS HE REASSURED ME HE REFUNDED ME AND AS COURTESY GAVE ME 1 FREE MONTH OF XBOX LIVE (WHICH IS FALSE!!!!!!!!)

I had a free 1 month gold trial on my account but bought the 1$ month gold instead thinking I could save it, now it's gone, will that free trial month come back after its over? if it doesn't, Microsoft is a scam..

Sorry to hear it. If you had a Gold membership and it ended earlier than it was supposed to you'll need to contact phone support for more assistance.

Sorry to hear it. You can check the length of your membership at commerce.microsoft.com.

If a refund was sent back to your credit card it will take a couple of weeks for it to be processed and you'll need to stay in touch with phone support for that.

As for the EA Access issue, I believe you may have been misinformed about posting here. If you phone support cannot help with that offer you may need to contact EA themselves.

 

Same thing with me but I have had extremely bad experience in regards to Xbox live customer service they will never refund you no matter their mistake or not so when I was told to purchase it I said no. But I spoke with three representives and no one had
any clue why I couldn't get it for a dollar like advertised and gave me no explanation at all. And of course there isn't anyone else you can contact and I just checked again I still see it on my dashboard

 

it says go gold for $1 on my xbox but wont let me and im trying to do it on here, but it only gives the normal options

If you don't currently have an Xbox Live Gold membership you'll need to purchase this offer through your Xbox One. This particular promotion isn't available through Xbox.com

 

It won't let me renew like could I cancel then renew

If you currently have Xbox Live you wouldn't be eligible for this promotion. You would need an expiring subscription in order to purchase it from the promotion screen.
