Removing parental account with out parental info

I Am trying to play an online game on the xbox and it says it needs parental info. My parents do not even recognize the emai lthat s liked as a parental account and we have no way to access its controls. the child account is above 18 and not even a child, is there something we can do to remove the parental account? thanks

Hi Benmiller111, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

If you no longer have the organizer account you can remove yourself from the family group by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/devices, simply scroll down a bit, you will see the option.

that would be a password reset however itsz shis parental account

no they cannot remove parental settings as it is upto your parents to remove it

actually outlook forums would help

the question is did you verify the info concerning the parental account to get the password reset

thats what you need to do

If you are saying that your account is still under a parent account, you will need to get the owner of the parent account to remove your account from the "family".

Are you using a child's account? If you are, the xbox will automatically block and deny access to some content.

The code should be the parental access code. Check out this link for some info on Parental Restrictions.
