Removing my debit card

Where it says manage your payments to the right in that box it says Microsoft account balance. We cant use that balance because some how when we want to purchase something and it says how do you want to pay it still shows my name and last four digits of
my debit card. We remove it from under settings on xbox but somewhere its locked in and this is totally unacceptable with Microsoft.

Is the card currently attached to a reoccurring payment??? If you say purchase under Microsoft account its going to show purchase method for anything brought. Its your billing statement. That will stay for the life of the account, but you do have the option
of removing the payment method out of the saved cards on account.

Thank you for reaching out to the forum. Are you referring to the payment used under previous purchases in you order history ? or where are you having this issue ? on the console or on your computer ?

You should be able to cancel auto-renew from that page...

Another option on that page should send you to:
live.xbox.com/.../ManagePaymentOptions

Here you can remove or edit payment options.
