    Removing Forza Horizon 4 when windows does not recognize it?


    i upgraded my c drive and i had FH4 installed on my secondary drive but now windows wont recognize it and i know it is still there but not exactly sure what files i should delete and if i even can delete them. so what would be the way to delete the installation fully without getting other problems hopefully? i read somewhere and i think it might be in the ''WindowsApps'' folder but when trying to delete that i need admin rights (i am the only user on this pc with full admin rights) i want to delete the game for as the drive is almost full and it does not work anyway.

    The game it's in the "windowsapp" folder as you mentioned, on all Windows systems the folder it's locked, you need to take ownership of it do you an access it and delete the files

    Crashing mid game

    Here’s a list of fixes that have resolved this problem for other FH 4 players. You don’t have to try them all. Just work your way through the list until you find the one that does the trick for you.
    1. Check If your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Forza Horizon 4
    2. Install the latest game patch
    3. Update your drivers
    4. Clear your standby memory before playing
    5. Disable your microphone for Forza Horizon 4
    6. Reset Forza Horizon 4
    7. Add Forza Horizon 4 as an exception to your third-party antivirus application
    8. Update your Windows system to the latest version
    9. Perform a clean boot
    10. Reinstall Forza Horizon
