Removing credit card from Live Gold account

Remove your credit card from the account. Use Microsoft point cards and xbox live gold subscription cards.

When removing a credit card of any sort, if it is tied to your xbox live gold subscription it will cancel it.

Go to account (right most section from dasboard) and go to billing information and from there you will be able to remove any credit cards or paypal accounts of that sort.

Your credit card is not on the console, it's on the account. You can remove the credit card by logging on the account on account.microsoft.com, scroll down to payment options, select it, and select manage on the credit card, then select remove card. To add another subscription, purchase an Xbox Live Gold Subscription Gift card from your local or online game retailer. Then redeem it on the account.

If you want to remove a credit card from a xbox live account, try going to billing.microsoft.com and try removing your credit card from there.

Hey there donTimoCZ! Are you currently posting from the account that your having this issue with? If so, are you still encountering this issue because it appears to me that you are already Gold. You can't remove credit cards that are tied in with an ACTIVE
Xbox LIVE Gold Membership. Once you turn silver, you can remove your credit card on file, OR you can contact Xbox Phone Support and they can remove it for you.
