Removed content from xbox marketplace

I've noticed that there has been some content removed from the marketplace like game add ons , videos, arcade games and on demand games also avatar items and gamer pictures and were they removed because people didn't like it or because some of it was offensive.
I'm mainly asking this because there this gamer picture pack called the Virgin Gaming Picture Pack, and when I search for it all I see is the virgin gaming theme.

Also, yes, they are allowed to remove content from the marketplace. Content can be removed for several reasons and is usually removed because of licensing issues with the developers.

Motorsport Legends Car and Track Pack Code not working. Forza Motorsport 3

All content for Forza 3 was removed from the marketplace years ago.

You could try clearing your console's cache to see if it becomes available again. Most of the time older marketplace items are replaced with new ones. or it could be just a glitch but like I said you can clear the cache by going to settings, system, storage,
highlight hdd, press y button, select clear cache, then restart your console. Hopefully the marketplace item that your looking for will become available again. If that doesn't work you could call support at 1-800-469-9269 and see if they can answer any questions
about the items your looking for. Hope this helps.

Some items are removed because the producer of the content wants it removed, other content is removed due to lack of interest, other content is removed because of licensing issues.

If it's not a game support is likely to be completely clueless as the rest of the content is pretty irrelevant.

When content is pulled form the Xbox Live Marketplace we make every effort to keep the content available for redownload. However, sometimes content must be pulled entirely from the Marketplace, including removing the ability to redownload it.
