Remove Xbox suffix

Hello,

I recently changed my xbox gamertag and it has a suffix in it. So I changed my alt's gamertag which has the same gamertag that I changed in my main but I can not remove the suffix. I wonder how I can remove the suffix in my main.

Thank you for responding! However, the problem is that I dont have money to pay for it. Since it can't be the same as an existing one, it will take me 20 dollars to change the name back. Is there anyway to just remove the suffix?

Unfortunately not! You would need to pay to remove the suffix because it would be considered a gamertag change!
