Remove main account

Kind of a confusing question but i recently gave my one s to my dad and made him an account with his email. He doesn’t have the game pass but my main account is on it. He can’t play anything without my account signed in. On my one x it says my account is being used even tho on the other Xbox he’s using his account. Can I delete my main account on his so he can still use it or does he need to buy the game pass to make it his

In order for him to be using your subscription you need to make your account his home console.

Please follow the instructions on this link Designate a home Xbox | Xbox Support.

After your account is set up as his home console on his xbox, you will need to sign out from your account on his xbox and he will need to sign in with his.

If your main account is child you can call the Xbox support team to help you remove the child restrictions or if it's not your main account than go to the settings and remove the block on the new account with your main account

No, it will just remove the account and if there are any other account on there, they will remain. If the account is a main, it will automatically change.

The main account is considered an adult account and I have set all settings to "allow" or "Everybody" in the settings.

The main account cannot be removed from the family.

When I added an account and applied the adult settings everything worked.

Is there a way to reset the main account to defaults or do I need to use a sub account going forward?

How can I check if the main account is 18+ as it does not appear in the configuration?

The main account belongs to me. It is the original account I started with year ago and have been using ever since.

I added an account to the family for testing.

The main account cannot be added or removed from the family.

It would be the same as deleting the main account and starting again.

I am wondering if there is a bug in the account management system.
