    Remove Family Account with Inaccessible Email


    Hello,

    I downloaded Starfield on Game Pass Ultimate on my computer. Upon Trying to play, it popped up with a Microsoft family notification saying it would email by parents. The email that it has been sent to has not been used in 7+ years and no one now has access to it.

    When playing on my Xbox One on the same account I can play games of all ratings and am not blocked by any form of parental settings. I am 23 anyway so I do not see why it is even sending this request in the first place.

    How do I get rid of a family account connection that is related to an email no one can access? the associated xbox account has been locked due to incorrect password attempts so there is seemingly genuinely no way around this currently.

    Any support would be appreciated, thank you.

    Sign into the Family account with your account and remove the account of your son, and then send an invitation as a child account to your sons email. And he can join the FAMILY as a child.

    If that's the case, your account can be a child account in a family account in which your mother's email is the parent account. If that so, she will need to remove you from the family account.

    If your email is the parental email, try removing yourself as the parent first? Normally, when you go to the family center as the parental account, it will show the child account. You can select and remove from family. When they sign in, it'd ask for a new
    parent, but I >THINK< you should be able to skip that by adding them to the family pack.

    check the linked ea account or unlink it so that I can put my actual ea account linked to it.

    I think the problem is that my xbox account was originally a family account and it will not allow me to remove the xboxlivefamily.com email.
