Remove emails with billing confirmations

Hello

I am just trying to turn off email confirmations for every purchase that I make......can anyone help?

Im having a problem with my email and i really want to change it, Can i change my xbox live account email to a different email? Please help.

I just added a new email to my account the other day...and there is an option to remove either one of them too.

Try adding the new one, wait for the confirmation email that validates the new email and go back to the site and you should be able to remove the old one.

Fraudulent Microsoft Points purchases?

Hey there.

First off, I have not had my old xbox 360 in over a year now. I sold it to a friend's family member and it later stopped working.

Today I got two email confirmations for 1600 Microsoft Points ($40 worth) that I did NOT purchase, and a security confirmation email for an *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** email address.

I have since changed my password and removed the email from my alternate emails list.

Is there any way to know if my billing information is safe and a way to get a refund?

Barring all of that, I would at least like to remove all billing information (which doesn't seem to be an option?) and close my account if possible.

Hello actually you can't directly change our notification s but you can go into your microsoft account , select the account and turn off notifications.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'd changed my name on my account some time ago, probably pushing onto two years now, that's what so confusing about this issue. Any idea why the info wouldn't have updated in that time?

Hi Arthur,

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. If you'd like to ensure that the account information is completely updated to your satisfaction concerning your name, you may wish to double check that these changes took effect already by doing
the following:

Sign in to
your Microsoft account.
Select Your info.
Select Edit name to change the name on your account.

Please bear in mind that after any change that is made to your account (security, personal info, etc), it will take 30 days to fully register with the account or get fully updated. If you made the change to your name within the past 30 days, then that may
be why your old name was listed there on the confirmation email.
