Firstly I wouldn't allow any friend have access to your account because whatever they do with it you will be responsible for their actions. If this is something that you insist on doing you need to not try to be sneaky and have a discussion with your
dad about what you are doing because he is the one who is responsible for the family account. This is the reason that child accounts exist. So that parents can monitor what happens on the account. If you happen to be old enough to make these decisions
on your own then your dad needs to update the information and remove restrictions. I would hate to see something negative happen to you or your account by letting someone else access your account and do something that gets you in trouble. Be safe and good
    luck!

There is absolutely no reason to have someone else sign in to your account.

You might say "Yeah, but it's my good friend and I trust him", but there are so many posts here about "good friends" sending harassing messages with your account that will get your account suspended, or where the friend went on a shopping spree with your
    account.

If you want to allow your friend to play your games, you sign in to his console and set his console as your account's Home Console in the settings.

After that is done, REMOVE your account from your friends console. Even with your account removed, they can play your games, as long as you keep their console your home console.

    Immediately change your password at
    https://account.live.com/Proofs/Manage
and also enable Two Step Verification. Then set up the Authenticator App on your smartphone.

After that, your dad shouldn't get any notifications anymore. Your Account security is at risk here!

Hi always be careful with the details you give.

One day your friend my not be, and then they can access your account, I'm not saying that will happen but it can and does on some occasions so you need to keep your account secure at all times.

I presume you are still classed as a child? If not then transfer over the account to your own email as ms will change a child account on age becoming an adult to an adult account, otherwise those steps are there to protect you. Often, and take this as it's
meant, a young person doesnt always see the risks l, understand what can happen.

Enjoy your gaming, stay safe on line

    Hi there,

Only the account holder (or parental account holder) can change the alerts that they get about sign-in activity on their account.

Keep in mind, you should not be sharing any login information with anyone, and logging into someone else's account is against the terms of service.

    Hi Michael,

There's a way to keep the account signed in, or to say that the account is used on that device a lot.

But i wouldn't recommend you turn off that feature, because if someone that's not your friend or has malicious intent can access your details and may potentially end up stealing or costing your family money and trouble.

The feature is there for your own online security, and as a big warning, that Microsoft and Xbox suggest, never give out your username and password to anyone ever, not even a Microsoft support agent or friend.
